Review on Handlebar Harley Touring Sportster Softail by Marvin Nadeau

If you don't have a hand, don't buy it.

They are terrible. If you don't have hands, don't buy them. I have a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 with a 1" handlebar. They should fit but they didn't, not without a lot of work. On the clutch side it fits fine but not on the throttle side. On the clutch side the metal tube doesn't go all the way through the grip, Allows the rubber to move a bit. I was disappointed with this but didn't find it to be a problem during the ride. The throttle side wasn't long enough to get to the throttle body and still be able to unscrew the end cap so I had to Sanding the steering wheel from the throttle side. The throttle body groove was too wide to fit in the body.So I had to make the hole in the throttle body bigger. Finally fitted they looked alright.I took it for a test drive and it did was another problem, the tube under the grip rubber was rotating independently of the piece attached to the cables, about 3/4 steering wheel this made driving very difficult my solution be was to add a small set screw to make the two parts work as one (which worked pretty well). They are also much shorter than my previous set. I have big hands and when I squeeze them, my palm rests on the outside of the buds, which isn't very practical. The rubber grip is only 3 1/2" wide, my palm is 4 1/4". I should have sent them back as soon as I saw that I would have to shorten the handlebars but I didn't.

Cons
