Throwing wires is not convenient, and you donβt want to mess around. And then I stuck two little things and everything works. By the way, they are smaller than it seemed in the picture. I must say right away that in the room where I am now writing a review - the wiring is old (aluminum), it goes to the shield. And where the router is connected - the wiring is new (copper). But the wiring in the shield intersects and everything is ok. No problem. Works as if connected with an ethernet wire directly. I didnβt like what was written - they say you can expand the wifi station with a button. But my router is old and pressing wps there - it turned off all the parameters of the router for me (reset the essid to the base one, the password, some network settings). Perhaps everything worked with the base essid, but this did not suit me very much. I expected to see an extension of my configured one, but either my router is ancient, or there is no other way. Therefore, it was decided simply not to deal with the problem, but to raise another access point on this white block - let the mobile devices figure it out themselves, it's much easier to connect (to the router or to this new access point). The kit comes with a disk with a couple of programs, one connects and shows the parameters of the powerline settings. There is nothing special to twist there (just for information that such and such blocks in the network work). The second climbs into the settings of the wifi adapter. There are already more buttons and settings. By the way, by default, when the wi-fi adapter was turned on, it grabbed the address 19220228.1.1, and this is the address of my router as well by default. It is in this program that you can set a different address. Otherwise, there is an address conflict and there will be no network. In addition, a new access point and its parameters are configured there . And this modification is convenient in that you can take this wi-fi adapter with you - it now has its own essid, its own access point. I stuck it in the kitchen and you sit quietly next to the transmitter))) From there, wi-fi was generally poorly taken. Now it flies with a bang and there. By the way, the instructions say that you can buy additional blocks. If there is a desire . But it is hardly necessary for the house.
