Two shown side by side seem to be fairly closely calibrated. I compared them to a third (more accurate) digital thermometer and they were within a degree or two.In the instructions it says that the accuracy is +/- 2°F, so it begs the question of why the display even bothers to show tenths of a degree. You can completely ignore whatever the decimal reading is.I like the hook and magnet options for securing it and the big display. High and low reading is great to know the outer limits of the ambient temperature during your fridge compressor cycles.One thing that would be better is if the high/low only updated with sustained temps instead of momentary spot temps. Why? Because if you open the fridge door and let warm air in or remove the thermometer from the fridge to read those numbers, the temp reading can shoot up a few degrees and effectively erase the previous high temp on the display.
