Review on Classic Leather White Spira Men's Shoes by Bryan Brant

This shoe brand was my favorite shoe brand for many years until the company went broke and changed hands. The first pair of shoes I bought after changing ownership was a disaster. The price has almost doubled and the quality has gone from 5 stars to -5 stars. First, the tongue began to peel off. What should have been a piece of leather turned out to be a piece of plastic-coated fabric. As it turned out, the entire boot was built the same way, as other parts of the boot began to chip off as well. And then the worst happened, the springs of both shoes burst. I have a strange clicking sound when I walk. I stayed with them on the second pair and had to give them up as the second pair was doing the same. I was disappointed to say the least. I cut open the shoe to make sure the springs were broken and they are broken. Unfortunately no photos. I've had other pairs of the same boots where the springs eventually wore down the sole and stayed intact until the change of ownership. Haven't bought a pair of these since and it looks like quality issues remain. Keep searching. Too bad, those were great shoes.
