This was the router/modem combo I got instead of my rented Comcast. The outdated Comcast worked much better than this. I keep losing connection when using Wi-Fi on my phone and sometimes on my computer. The other day it was so bad that I couldn't even connect to the internet on my computer. This would only allow me to go to a few different websites. I called Netgear's "Support" (if you can even call it that) and the woman who answered wanted to register my product. So I agreed and gave her the date of purchase. If I had known the warranty was only 90 days I should have lied to them when I bought it. After that she didn't help me anymore with my Netgear router because it was out of warranty (after 3 months. Ridiculous). She then wanted me to buy an extended warranty and support plan, which costs about $80 a year. Why should I pay $80 for help when I can just buy a BRAND NEW router for a little more? This company does not endorse their products unless you pay for them. Bought January 2015, still "working" in June 2015 but I have to restart the router every month and I have to keep reconnecting to my phone and computer. And by the way, the lady on the phone didn't even tell me where the reset switch was on the router to factory reset it. It's at the bottom of a small screw (I had to research it myself instead of asking for help from a staff member who works for the company that designed this thing). Just pay attention to this product. We'll probably use a separate Arris modem and router next time. Definitely NOT all of Netscam, I mean Netgear.
