First of all, it's not the seller's fault. Miele has changed this brush from a very soft natural horsehair duster to a brush with polyamide bristles. Unfortunately, these fibers are not soft at all. They are tough and very abrasive and can damage your stuff, especially if you have art and antiques. This brush is different day and night than the horsehair brush which used to be SSP 10. I contacted Miele to see if I received the wrong brush but they claim it is the correct brush. They sent me a new one just to be safe, but it's exactly the same. Miele claims that the polyamide bristles in this dusting brush are natural bristles. Excuse me? According to my research, polyamide is a synthetic polymer like nylon. It's not natural at all and Miele should be ashamed to pass off this awful brush as a natural bristle brush. The wood is also natural, but I wouldn't dust my stuff with a bunch of toothpicks either. Does Miele think its customers are blind and stupid? Those of us who have invested a small fortune in our high-end machines know the difference between the original SSP 10 horsehair brushes and that rough, spiky thing that, by the way, comes in the same packaging as the old SSP 10 horsehair brushes. the past. We have had the pleasure of using many SSP 10 dusting brushes over the years, all of which have worn out due to the natural bristles; A small price for taking care of your belongings. Did Miele really think we wouldn't notice this decoy? It's shocking and terrifying from a company I never thought would sell the way they do. Miele is known for the highest quality in technology and design, but no more, at least when it comes to these accessories, that's for sure. If you pay the exorbitant price of a Miele vacuum cleaner, you also expect high-quality accessories. After all, what good is a first-class vacuum cleaner with an inferior nozzle? However, it's great to have options. If Miele offers this plastic brush as an option, then fine. But replacing a soft horsehair brush with this hard plastic brush and storing it in the same SSP 10 packaging that calls it a natural hair brush doesn't fool you. This is false advertising. Shame on you, Miele. This SSP 10 brush is back. I won't risk damaging my prized possessions with that awful dust brush excuse. EPIC FAILURE MIELE.
