Review on Bernette 05 Academy Sewing Machine by Doris Tran

I was very excited about this machine, I've watched every video I could find about it and read every review I could get. Unfortunately, after unpacking, I found that the flywheel was not spinning. The internal linkage that moves the needle up and down is covered by another piece of metal, making it impossible to rotate. Also characteristic was that the boxes in which the car arrived were completely undamaged; and it came with a standard test cloth showing the stitches have been tested. But I have no idea how/when they could have been tested, because the car literally does not work (neither when spinning the flywheel, nor when pressing the pedal - the car just makes a whirring noise). I have no idea whose fault it is but I was really disappointed and a bit frustrated with the wait and anticipation of getting a new machine up and running. I've requested a replacement so I'm keeping my fingers crossed I don't get another car that doesn't work.
