Nice little radio. Firstly, unlike some other radios in this price range, I can drive this thing through town in my jeep without overloading the receiver with strong neighboring stations. The audio is loud enough to hear while driving and the reception sensitivity is on par with my old Icom HT - much better than the UV-5R. The radio supports 10 character channel names, which gives me enough flexibility to add a descriptive name. CHIRP added support for this radio last month, making it easy to program and port existing programs if you already have another supported radio.
