Definitely worth it

I ordered this for my son's 9th birthday. When we took it out of the box and planted it to begin with, it broke into 4 pieces, which proved very useful. The whole family loved it as he kept digging and the dirt is so soft that once most of it is removed you can just rip it out and shake it off. Thought we had them all but decided to break all the dirt and find another one that was easy so make sure you check everything out. As a result, we got 15 pretty neat and decent sizes. I took them internally and washed them off with a soft toothbrush. You will definitely need something to get into all the books and pull out the bar. I'm impressed and feel like it's definitely worth the money, which I was a bit apprehensive about. The ONLY negative I have is the purple material they have on the surface of the dirt. I assume it's some kind of molding so the dirt doesn't stick together during shipping. But I found tiny pieces on some of the gems that were on top and I can't tear them off. The kid doesn't even seem to notice, but it annoys me!
