💎 Nat Geo Ultimate Gemstone Mine Review

My eldest daughter (7 years old) bought this set with her own money. She had fun and was cute enough to let her little sister find some gems too. There are 15 gems inside the block so they had a lot of fun and enjoyed all the different gems. We ended up using a flathead screwdriver and a hammer along with the tools that came with it to make it easier to disassemble. Great set and lots of gems for kids. The set also included a booklet with a description of each gemstone. Happy kids!

My son loves the Gem Grab Set! It was slow at first, but once he found the first gem, he quickly went through the whole stone. It doesn't have a small mallet like the other sets so we used my son's own play bench. The help of the hammer was enormous. The only complaint (from my son) is that it didn't have an agate stone. well there are some cool trinkets that my kids (4 and 6 years old) liked and amused them a bit. However, I was disappointed that the product must have been pre-opened and worse badly damaged. The magnifying glass was missing, which they probably didn't miss, but who knows. I cannot praise this item enough. We've used a gem mining kit before and it was awful. This one, which I put in my son's Easter basket, was wonderful. The clay was so easy to dig with the tools provided, even to the point where you could just break the clay into pieces. The drawing on the clay was so beautiful - it looked like a big crystal. Got this for my 10 year old son for Christmas and he thought he was the richest man in the world after seeing their 15 gems had dug up. I ordered this for my son's 9th birthday. When we took it out of the box and planted it to begin with, it broke into 4 pieces, which proved very useful. The whole family loved it as he kept digging and the dirt is so soft that once most of it is removed you can just rip it out and shake it off.
