delivery took a while but the shoes are excellent. I am 75 years old and live on a small mountain. My daily exercise routine consists of walking to the base of the mountain and back, about five miles total. This takes about 90 minutes. The road I'm on is made of tar and shavings. These shoes are light and comfortable when I first wear them and have served me well on my outings. I've had three or four pairs of Revels and appreciate the construction, particularly the back of the outsole which, unlike many running shoes, curves in a gentle upward curve to match the way the foot hits the ground heel first . I found that I didn't wear out my heels as quickly with the Revels as I did with my other favorite, the Asics Gel Nimbus. In this particular version, I particularly like the laces, which look different but good. If I were still a runner I would be fine in these shoes.
