My 6 year old daughter loves these bows and I think she is very cute too but she has very thin thin hair and the base is very thick and at least it doesn't look flattering on her hair. I prefer the look and feel of a thin metal base over a thick fabric wrapped base. You can't see it in any of the photos because they were taken from above, but the side of the bow doesn't blend into the hair, it seems to sit on top of the hair, and maybe it looks good on girls with thicker hair, but if yours Daughter thin thin hair, I do not recommend.
