Review on Egg Piercer - Enhancing Durability for Long-lasting Usage by Jill Parrott

To be honest I was really nervous when I first used it! I don't know why, it's scary. It's a little metal thing that fits in the palm of my hand and will kick the shit out of you if you try to squeeze it. (I may or may not speak from experience!) I hard boiled an Elite Cuisine EGC-007 MaxiMatic Kitchen Egg Boiler and melted the small amount of water/eggnog that came with it in our dishwasher. I think it fell off the top shelf or my husband completely lied and put it on the bottom shelf. Anyway, I kept needing a new one and finally decided on this one. (In case you didn't know, if you're using a kitchen egg cooker, you MUST pierce the egg or it won't cook) It works fantastic! It's very small so fits perfectly in our drawers, but it's cute and pretty enough that I don't mind putting it on the window seal over the sink. I'm so glad I finally bought it.
