Well when I ordered them they were $24 for two. I'm going to test them at this price - and you should definitely stop reading and order them now when they're cheaper. I cringe at expensive baby clothes. If a product doesn't make it into a baby's mouth, in most cases there's little reason to raise the price - it's just to make parents feel like they love their child more than the cheapest option available. At $12 for a burp cloth, I was definitely in cringe mode, but we have every brand of burp cloth imaginable and we still didn't have enough to survive the wash cycle. So I got her. You are tall. It means length and breadth. They don't wrap around your neck trying to hold your baby with one hand while doing other tasks with the other. They offer good protection against salivation or bad smells, they catch everything that comes out of your child's mouth and gets on your clothes. They absorb moisture. When one of these shows up in my burp rotation, I can really catch up on the burp wash cycle because it takes at least half a day. My husband and I have different types of burping. I hold the baby on my shoulder and pat him on the back or stroke his back so that he presses his tummy against my chest. This causes him to burp on my shoulder, front or back. These burp cloths are coated to prevent changing clothes. My husband has our son bent over on his knees and pats him on the back several times. Usually, the husband puts traditional diapers on the floor to catch anything that falls out. The problem is that the diaper is not very thick and not absorbent, so the wooden floors are still damp. When he puts those burp cloths on the floor, they can take anything! Again, these are seriously my favorite burp cloths. They're expensive, but they're DURABLE. They don't shrink. They don't curl around the edges. They are amazing. If you can get them, do it. You don't even have to thank me later. I hope this review helps!
