It has 2 modes that allow you to choose how many times you want to play the recording. It's great for teaching sentences to birds that can learn to talk. It's great to keep birds company. What better way for them not to feel alone than to hear their parents' voices? That's why I bought it for my Green Cheek Conure. You set it up on a flat surface away from the birds and grab it. NEVER in a cage! This gives you 10 seconds to record, which is way more than any other product I've tried. And the "Quality" record beats all other products I've tried that have been mute or too quiet. This product records clearly and has a perfect volume. Not too loud and not too quiet! Something when I saw this product told me to buy it first. I didn't listen to my intuition as I found the price of $20-$25 too expensive. Instead, I spent "more" on many other products that were worse. This is an amazing product worth every penny! You will not be disappointed. (sighs) If only I could travel back in time.
