After all the good reviews, I was excited to check them out. Order just came and my son put in the batteries and got scared and dropped it saying it smoked then there was a horrible burning smell. I thought maybe he was mistaken so I tried a different one. It SMOKED then it had a horrible burning smell just like he experienced. LED Lytes, I love love love this set of candles. The candles are wax with a glowing flickering flame that mimic a real candle. They are very versatile in different group settings as you can tell by the photos I posted. I especially like that the batteries are AA and not a disc battery. Best of all they can be set on a timer.Definitely will be purchasing more for Christmas presents.Mary K

I've had these for 6 months now. They have a realistic appearing flame that is golden light. At a glance into a room or at the candle you would believe it was a real candle. I've been using the timer feature for the entire six months and have not yet had to change out the batteries. I am super happy with these candles!

Great candles! They are very realistic looking. Wax finish and we feel the flame, which stands on a wick, is more convincing and realistic than the flames that bob back and forth. The flame also flickers like a natural flame candle. So far battery life and timer function are good. They did not come with a remote. That would be my only suggestion for improvement. However, even without the remote they are still a great product and exceptional value!

There are too many companies who sell fake candles to ever count but there are far fewer factories in China that make them, which means despite all those brands there are actually only a few that are really different. I bought this for my boss. She really loved it but there were only 3 candles that functioned. Complained to the company and they sent me a new one but its the same thing, the candles just keep dying. I will return these 2 boxes and never will buy this product again

These are nice and work well. I like the timer feature and the look of a real candle. I would of liked for more light to shine through the candle body more. It is mostly at the top where the flame is.

They are different from most flameless candles. They are thin/narrow and have a different flame effect, -not like the ones that move back and forth. It’s nice they are not same as all the rest.

Was excited because if the good reviews. Just came and out new fresh batteries in the first one. Nothing. Opened a new package of batteries, still nothing. Took out the second one and it worked. Went back to the first and still nothing. Was going to keep them if the rest worked and then I thought why should I. My money can spend anywhere. This is why Luminara are expensive. I liked everything about these candles. They fit nicely on the windowsill as they are thin. The photo was taken from above them inside the house.

I love these candles. They look and feel like real candles. I use them all in a Lantern I have and they’re absolutely perfect. The flickering is probably my best part which gives it that realistic look. I haven’t tried the timer yet because I didn’t know how, but according to the reviews it’s pretty simple.

I like that these flameless candles are very bright and I love using them as needed. One or two can bright up a room alone. I would recommend purchasing these.

We couldn't be more impressed with the very realistic "candle light" from these LED candles! The pulsing of the LED wicks gives an amazing natural look. The 2 AA batteries in each candle seem to last forever. We have been running our candles for several evenings so far and have not noticed any dimming of the light they emit. They have a very subtle flickering movement that is so much like a real candle. Safe for someone like myself, who could forget to blow out a real candle. The set is really nice for a great price.

I like the timers. I used these candles in my windows at Christmas. One of the candles did not work, which was a disappointment.

These were very life-like for LED candles. They are acceptably bright. We didn't use the timer function, but when we set one incorrectly, the time worked turning the candle off and on as expected.

These were much better than I expected I had them on my mantle and no one knew they werent burning wick candles. That made me very happy! ;-)

The largest candle in this group does not work! I love the way the candles look together when they are lit up except for the largest candle.
