Perfect fit for 2011 BMW E90 328i

This is exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for something that could bridge the gap between my 2011 BMW E90 328i without the navigation pack and the new Bluetooth technology. I envied newer cars that can get in the car and play music without getting attached to it. Specifically, on my model I would have to tie it down and place it in the center console or pull it out carefully without breaking the cable. My year was particularly difficult because I used a Lightning adapter from a factory 90-pin USB/3.5mm port. This device completely replaces the nonsense with the adapter. The installation has been detailed in the insert and is very simple. The blue light gives you a clear indication of power, and after initial detection/pairing it seemed to just connect when I jump into the game. The musical details are transmitted to your radio (even if you only have a basic radio) and can be viewed there if you wish. This works for music in your library as well as other apps like Pandora, Apple Music, Onkyo HF Player (for FLAC or play-for-hire), etc. Bluetooth audio playback also syncs well as there are many transport media, at where audio lags when streaming video. This isn't the case, as videos through apps like WatxhESPN and Crunchyroll play well in sync with their videos. The steering wheel controls as much as you'd expect in terms of volume and navigating tracks forward or backward. Sometimes I can feel a very slight delay, but it can be as slow/fast as the standard radio control (if you used it to parry your tracks) - this standard radio control works the same over this connection. And of course the telephone communication works just as before. When you switch between your phone and music or an app, it switches beautifully and implements pauses and resumes as you'd expect. Overall this is a great product and well worth the price of upgrading your system. Keep in mind that even a refurbished Tether Lightning cable, at least for my model year, is around $99 at the dealer anyway (and that doesn't get you what it does). Now you can place your phone anywhere in your car (dashboard, under the radio or just in your pocket) and enjoy all the benefits of modern Bluetooth systems.
