I like that all the pencils I have are held in it but they are very tight. To get the required 120 pins you'll need to insert three into each "hold" section, but getting them in and out takes some work. I've found that the best way to insert a third pin is between the two you insert first (out of 3 per "slot") and it almost snaps into place. It's still a little tighter than I expected. The case is slightly wider than the pens and wide enough to close with a zipper. Also, I guess I expected to have a zipper with a fold-out center panel, not two zippered compartments. It's not that important, I just didn't expect it. However, I'm sure it was designed to make it easier for you to get your pens out and back in without a larger "flap" around the case (where the zipper is). The lack of an inside, I thought, also probably prevents the pins from hitting each other due to the 'loose' part on the inside, so this is most likely your best bet. However, they fit perfectly. That's my only complaint about him. The leather case also feels comfortable, not like plastic, but almost soft. There are also a couple of buttons that work very easily for the zipper pulls. When closed, it prevents lightning from getting stuck in all places. One more thing, when you first insert pencils, it's difficult to get the rubber band to make room for the pencil to be inserted, so I found the steel scale to be good for prying open.
