I think the seller is confused as to what a quick coupler is. As the name suggests, the quick release allows you to quickly remove or release something. For example, the seatpost quick-release swivel allows you to adjust or remove the seatpost by simply pulling the lever. The quick release does the same with the wheels. Nothing in this "quick release" fulfills the function of a quick release. The shotgun's seat doesn't come off easily at all. Watch the installation video on YouTube. You have to do the opposite and take everything apart every time you take it off the bike. You may not need to remove the seat and loosen the top screw depending on how tight you tightened it when installing it. Less solid is obviously less secure. In fact, the quick release bar on this seat just gives you a little extra leverage to secure the seat a little. A useful feature, but not a quick release. A wing nut or thumbscrew or whatever would have sufficed, but you couldn't have gotten it that tight. In order to remove this seat from the bike, you have to at least unscrew the "quick release" and the footrests completely, if necessary also remove the seat and unscrew the upper screw, i.e. completely disassemble it and remove it. The footpegs are also a little painful to put on and take off. between the footpegs in the correct position so that you can fully extend the footpeg screw. I bought this primarily because it was supposed to be a quick release and I need to install/remove the seat regularly.
