Review on Pirelli Cinturato P7 225/45 R17 91W summer by Stanislaw Gluszek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

My vehicle, an Austrian-assembly BMW X3 E83 XDrive20D, was introduced to the public in August 2022; consequently, the use of tires didn't start until the spring of that same year. Made in Italy, with a measurement of 235/55 R17 tires. 65% of riding is in the city, 25% on the highway, and 10% in the countryside, mountains, or on vacation. My home is in the Caucasus, and my family and I make frequent trips to the surrounding mountains. I have a significant amount of experience with off-roading in rural and mountainous terrain (where you can't meddle with my German; I quickly realized), and my ability to traverse rough terrain is adequate; I can do enough with my mind. Tires are overjoyed with their situation. Over the course of eight years, I racked up 105 thousand kilometers, which indicates that I do not drive particularly aggressively. Even if the tread has not yet worn out and the tires appear to be in good condition, I will replace them in 2022 due to the fact that they are getting old anyway and it is dangerous to drive on the track. The likelihood is that I will purchase the same ones (although, they claim, the same tires made in 2022 differ greatly in quality from Italian ones, and in our stores, there is only Pirelli from Hong Kong or Kirov available). If I hadn't stumbled upon so many negative comments in other people's reviews, I probably wouldn't be taking the time to write this one. The impression that we are speaking about two completely different things. It is a little bit peculiar.

Pros
  • Extremely resilient, both in wet and dry conditions, with great road holding. The rusting can hardly be felt at all. Rubs calmly against the curbs despite the fact that it has no fear of killed asphalt or mountain roads. Incredible resistance to wear and tear; after eight years of use (four punctures are not taken into account), there has not been a single crack and the tread has not yet been worn away.
Cons
  • To my ears, it sounded like it might have been a little bit noisy, but no one else would have paid attention.
