Review on KingCamp Aluminum Alloy Adjustable Back Swinging Folding Rocking Chair With Pillow Cup Holder, Recliner For Outdoor Camping, Travel, Sport Games, Lawn Concerts & Backyard by Brad Dotson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Made for 6'0 "+ but there is a solution for shorties

I bumped this up to 5 stars. It is a really great chair.I am 5'10", and I felt like a little kid sitting in this chair the first time. It is about 1-1.5" too high and my feet barely touched the ground. This can be easily fixed by removing the rounded black end caps with pliers and a screwdriver, use a plumbers style pipe cutter to cut off 1-1.5" of height from the riser tubes, then pop the end caps back in place.Aside from height (which can be fixed. See above), the chair is close to the optimum for a reasonable weight portable chair. It sits up, swings, reclines. It is easy to set up and take down. It would be nicer if the chair used spring pins that automatically locked instead of the cumbersome shear pins, but they are just a minor miss on the design, not a deal breaker. The price seems a little high, but in line with everything else in the post inflation world.Final thoughts, I paired this chair with a clip on umbrella and footrest to complete the system. I've gotten several compliments on the system and highly recommend.

Pros
  • Use For Travel Baseball, Wife Loves!! 5 stars
Cons
  • The chair's cushion may not be removable for washing, making it challenging to keep clean
