I have an older Bernina 1090 for which Bernina does not offer a support leg. This trainer foot is perfect for the Bernina transition foot. It was so much fun watching the swirls and leaf shapes of the colorful yarn coming out of my car! I decorated the wool jacket with wool yarn. That's great! Just buy it. The only advice I have is to pull the thread through the hole in the foot, use the thread loop as a tool to thread the needle, insert the thread end into the thread loop, thread the two thread ends through the hole in the foot and pull the thread through. To be clear, you thread the yarn through the hole in the foot, not through the needle. Set the machine for straight stitch only. Drop the feeders. Use a larger stitch and go!
