Really tough review. The razor works fine. my beard is hard Not as close as a blade, but close enough for me. Suitable for everyday use. And very nice to touch up if needed. Works well with dry or damp beard. Does not pull hair or irritate skin. Appears to wash off easily. Lies well in the hand, so everything is fine, BUT. As mentioned, the documentation for this thing is really terrible. This is a fairly expensive razor. I want to know that I'm using it correctly to get the best results and that I'm taking proper care of it to get those results and not affect the life of the device. All you get are crazy little graphics. Use your words, Brown. It is not that hard. Yes, you need some translations. Deal with it. A good example of the lack of documentation: a picture showing a drop from a small bottle being applied to a fingertip and then to a shaving head. The box does not contain such a small bottle nor an explanation of what it could be. So I have to email Braun, find out it's "light machine oil" and then go out and buy it as it seems important to do this maintenance step on a weekly basis. I think if a bottle of oil was included I could clarify things, but the lack of a bottle and any explanation made it too much work for me to properly understand what my razor required. So 4/5 for the shaving experience but 0 for the customer experience.
