This is a very polarizing product.

So, a complete revelation: my first attempts at building this microphone came to nothing. It didn't connect to any of my devices, and I found that the mic would work if I used a USB-C cable other than the one that came with it. However, it sounded awful, it peaked regardless of my gain or volume settings, it had a metallic sound quality and was very muffled, and no amount of setting tweaks could fix it. I assumed the microphone should be like this. to sound and that the cable was broken. I ended up submitting a return request but a few days later the computer I was using died quite old. Over the Memorial Day weekend when the UPS office was closed, I built and assembled a new computer, and since the microphone was still there I rebuilt it without hesitation. It was the right choice. The mic sounds great, the amplification works great and now instead of that high metal sound I get this full warm tone for everything and it's just fine, great mic to recommend along with mics like the Yeti. by Blue Microphone or Quadcast by HyperX. Buy this mic at your own risk though, I had a terrible first experience and it wasn't an easy decision to give the mic a second try. If the mic works, it works great, but if your computer isn't compatible with it, you might think it's a cheap $20 mic.
