Review on 💨 Minka-Aire F803DL-SL Artemis - Led 58" Ceiling Fan: Powerful Cooling with Energy-Efficient LED Lighting by Jasmine Reed

Do not buy. Dangerous. We've had this particular fan for years. The first was installed in our family room, a new build by professional fan installers. It worked great for years until one day the blade broke off and almost hit my dad in the head. We called the mink manufacturer but they said the warranty was expired. Since we liked the look of the fan, we thought the broken blade was an accident and installed a different one. Same thing happened last week when the blade broke off, hitting the wall and denting it (see photo). We called the store where we bought them and the Minka Aire offers them a refund and asks the owner of the house (us) to stand up 15 feet to look inside the fan for the date of manufacture. After spending thousands of dollars on Minka Aire fans they have terrible customer service. We also have Hunters and Casablanca fans, no release has lasted longer than Minka Aire. I will not buy their products and will not recommend them to anyone I know (which happens to a lot of people because of my work). These fans look great, but having the same problem over the years is no coincidence, it just feels like poor workmanship. Incidentally, our Hunter fans were less expansive and had no problems. With so many companies to choose from, you would think they would have the best customer service, especially when the blade breaks and life is at risk.
