6/24/21 edit: Still working! I use it between my regular office chair and it supports and distributes my 230 lb weight well. It helps when I have a stiff back and I generally stick with this chair because it really prevents back pain. Eventually I will need knee pads because after a while, especially with my weight, my knees start to hurt. so my knees took most of the weight. Now I've lowered it back so it's about 50/50 on my knees and hips to allow me to sit longer. Yes my knees get tired after a few hours but I switched from a regular office chair to this one which has greatly reduced my hip pain. Again, I was 230lbs a few days ago so the padding is just about enough, but some might find that too little or too much? Two weeks ago I sprained my lower back, nothing new to me. My job also requires a lot of sedentary work on the internet, photos and videos throughout the day. Although I have a relatively comfortable chair, my buttocks are so tight that this time my right thigh hurt for almost two weeks. I've heard good things about the office too. What I love about this design is that you can change the height and also adjust the weight that you can put on your knees and hips. Installation was easy. I don't know people who say it's hard to build. There is an instruction manual that also comes with two Allen keys. It took me less than five minutes to assemble. At first I found the knee pads a bit small, but I also remember that even sitting with your legs apart in the car puts more pressure on my hips. And I'm not small either at 5'10", 230 pounds, and neither are my feet exactly small from years of testing and mountain biking. It took me a while to get used to it and find the right comfortable height, but now it works fine for me carpeted floors you can probably use this chair without casters casters workable but otherwise at the moment I'm adjusted to the height so most of the weight is on my knees/shins I use this most of the time of the day and the foam shape seems to be holding up well. Remember, if you're trying to relieve the pressure on your back and hips with a standard 29-30" table, you'll end up sitting a little higher. Now my forearms are a little raised than usual when I'm typing on the keyboard, so if it's too high you have to loosen a screw on the main frame and move it down a notch to lower it - actually limp . I have terrible posture and it makes me sit up straight.
