Works great but make sure your timer is good.
This product works well but a word of caution: Solenoid problems are often caused by a bad timer. Apparently a bad timer is keeping the solenoid on for too long, melting the plastic around the metal post and preventing it from moving up and down freely. A new timer costs $150. So if you need to replace the solenoid valve and timer, you can probably buy a used dishwasher from an appliance dealer.
