If you're looking for a small personal fan that's both quiet and powerful, this is the one for you (Note: This is a plug-in fan with a 5" power cord). I like this 6" fan even better than the 9" fan that I also have. Why? Because it seems almost as powerful, and not only that, but a lot quieter too. I literally don't hear this fan at speed 1. I hardly hear it at speed 2 either. Even speed 3 and turbo have a quiet sound. I don't like noise when I sleep at night (even fan noise) but I can keep this fan on speed 1 at night and it doesn't bother me at all. I'm freezing and I can't hear any sound. Plus, you can feel this fan from a few feet away, and it moves and blows air just as well as much larger fans. It's also more portable than a 9-inch fan (both have a convenient carrying area on the back). It has a timer for 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours and off. sides and even eights! Quality design and construction! I love this fan! One of my best purchases from Revain!
