I have very adverse reactions to scented garbage bags. It feels a bit like putting on cologne in a landfill - nauseating! These bags, on the other hand have no odor and they are surprisingly resilient and strong. They hold a LOT and don't leak; and since I also use them to pack shoes etc when traveling, I appreciate their transparency. I can see what's inside. (also helpful for that day when my bracelet fell off in the kitchen garbage can and didn't realize it till the next morning and had to 'search' the garbage. I pulled the bag out, turned it around a few times and saw exactly where the bracelet was.)
