I use peg locks to prevent people from stealing my Christmas lawn caramel stakes. If your main plug from the outlet is in a secure place (like a locked garage) or if you use a padlock to connect the locker to the eyebolt (I have an eyebolt on my porch step right next to the outlet) , thieves can't turn off lawn decorations and move to an easier and faster target. One day I had candy lawn stakes stolen from me, then I bought a locking box, and since then someone has tried to steal it twice without success. I wouldn't even put up lawn decorations if I didn't have a way to lock them up as I live on a busy street and people come here and steal decorations every year. This locking box is nice and big so you can fit 2 to 4 plugs to the main power strip plug. It feels pretty good when you can outwit a thief!
