I bought this as a gift to complement my son-in-law's quality shaving brush and other shaving products. I chose it from several available on the market and checked it carefully upon receipt. It's exactly what I was hoping for, solid chrome plated metal, enough weight not to wobble, unscrewable, hopefully rust free. I could give 4 stars if I could use it myself. If my son-in-law likes it, I'll take one too, because now you get a high-quality brush in a package with creams etc., but without a stand. After just a month of brush lathering fun I see that having a stand to hang it upside down is definitely a necessity to keep water from getting in and on the handle and corroding the handle and brush hairs at their base . . The brush should air dry and hang down. A quality brush deserves a quality stand.
