Installed in 2018 Kia Forte. When the package arrived I thought it was bigger. This is a small box. The first images compare the size with several quarters. Although the overall package is small, it offers decent trunk lighting. There are no instructions, but it's easy to find out if you can change the lightbulb. Here are some technical details about the product: The strip is approximately 19.5 inches long. About halfway down the ribbon is a soldered pigtail at the 10 inch mark. The braid is about 2.5 inches long. There are 30 LEDs on the strip (also indicated in the product description). They have 5050 SMD design. The LED strip has a foam-based adhesive tape for better adhesion (unlike traditional LED strips). The kit includes two plugs and an extension cord. Spring-loaded shaft connector and pin connector. The length of the connectors is 2.5 inches. Extension cord length 12 inches. The LED strip is polarity sensitive so check which way you want the daisy chain to go. the location of the socket when I replaced it. A word of caution: when you put the tape on the underside of the trunk, don't get it too close to the hole where the existing light fits or it could get damaged. a strip before installation to make sure everything works (someone noticed that ea a couple of LEDs didn't work for them before, everything worked fine in my case). The strip on the LED strip is made of 3M foam tape (at least as specified on the label). After installation, it had good adhesion (unlike traditional paper tape LED strips). I don't expect it to fail any time soon. The results were fantastic. As you can see from the pictures, the before and after shots are dramatic (well, maybe it's an exaggeration, but it was pretty cool). It was great value and an easy project to do. I recommend to anyone who has a dim light in the trunk.
