Review on Fullmosa Genuine Leather Colors Release by Andre Hawkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Outstanding quality for the price.

Considering the price, this is a really good watch strap. I bought this to freshen up the look of a Seiko 5 automatic field watch after the original nylon strap started to show noticeable wear. Completely changed the look of the watch. Very well made with clear, clean seams. Criticism of skin thinness is dead wrong; It's an $11 bracelet and not premium calf leather art. And I dare say that the Fullmosa is certainly a quality upgrade compared to the OEM leather straps found on most budget and mid-range wristwatches. What you get for your money is amazing. Don't underestimate the value of the built-in spring mechanism that requires no tools. All you have to do is hook your fingernail on a tiny stud protruding from a sharp cut in the leather and slide it aside to retract the spring mechanism. Facilitates putting on and taking off the watch strap. But will all watch straps have this feature! Surprisingly, the bracelet still featured a spring bar, which made removing my original bracelet much easier than the small jeweler's screwdriver I intended to use. Absolutely worth your money. ETA: Update - after 4+ months of use (worn a few times a week; going through my small watch collection) the Fullmosa still looks great and shows no signs of wear other than a nice break. I bought a second fullmosa strap for my Timex weekender chronograph (20mm wide, same brown leather) and am happy with it too. My only complaint? What do I do with my accumulated collection of OEM spring bar and spring bar tools?
