Was skeptical but bought it anyway. reduce things. They need to move to a smaller apartment and eventually to a tiny house. Wherever possible, compromises have to be made. So I was very surprised by how easy it was to use and clean. Not for precision cooking. However, for those of us who don't need an ultra-precise gauge and when I need to weigh things accurately, they work well. Not very good for scooping out of some containers. They work great for most applications. They are durable and well made. I always leave my metal in containers and can't find the size I need. They are quite bulky, they are put on the table, washed and cleaned. Hooray.
