Gift for my hair at Styling Tools & Tools

Just received this comb a week ago. It was expensive and I was a little worried about its origin (I asked but didn't get an answer) but ordered it anyway. I have to say this is a really good comb. The whole thing appears to have been made from a single piece of buffalo horn. There are no sharp spots anywhere on this site. The ends of the tines are smooth and rounded, allowing you to sweep across your face without leaving a mark. Feels great on the scalp. It's a very different experience than any hairbrush I've picked off the drugstore shelf. I have shoulder length hair and I try to take care of it to keep it healthy as it grows. This comb is my entry ticket after showering and washing/conditioning my hair. I use a non-greasy leave-in detangling spray, but combing through my damp hair has never been easier or more painless than with this comb. Of course, I try to start at the ends and not pull at the scalp. Even if done more carefully, it didn't take any time at all. Based on my week's use of this comb, I am impressed and would recommend it to anyone willing to shell out $15 for a comb. I would like to point out that since it is made of horn and not plastic, I am concerned that it might break if it falls on a tile or other hard floor if it slips out of my hand. It spoils me, so I will spoil him. It's an organic product, not a molded thing, so I treat it with the respect it deserves and hope that it will give me pleasure for a long time to come.
