Programming couldn't be easier. Check out all the many other overviews of the steps required to program these remotes. If you buy multiple remotes (I have 3) and want to program them all, after you press and hold the unlock button on the driver's side when you turn the car on (just before the car turns on fully), OFF, ON, OFF, remove the key , release the driver's side auto unlock button, and then you know your car is in programming mode when it auto locks/unlocks once. Next, pick up each remote without a key while simultaneously holding the lock + unlocking the bottoms. The car will go through the locking mechanism again to let you know the remote has been programmed. Then take the next remote (this time without repeating the steps to enter programming mode) and press and hold lock + unlock again and your car will repeat the lock/unlock cycle to indicate your second remote has been programmed . Keep doing this until all the remotes are programmed, THEN test them. If you do not program all the remotes at once and repeat the programming mode steps one more time, the first remote will be unprogrammed and only the last one will be programmed. Hope this helps and saves some people some money. My RF range in line of sight is only about 5 meters.
