Worked no problem for a 2002 Silverado LS

My OEM remote for my 2002 Chevy Silverado LS has the code KOBLEAR1XT which this remote should match. Indeed it was! It worked without any problems, it was easy to program and I had no problems with it. I followed these programming instructions which did NOT come with the remote control: Get all the remote control transmitters for this car. This process will erase all previously programmed remote controls. You must program any existing and new remote controls you wish to use with the vehicle atโ€ฆ

It actually worked on my 2001-02 Chevy Tahoe

So surprised it actually worked! I lost the instructions or made a mistake and threw them away with the packaging. but thanks to Amazon product reviews I was able to find help setting up my job. Very easy installation, I managed it on the second try. To program yourself: 1) Put the key in the ignition switch. 2) Make sure all doors are closed. 3) Wait for the door light to turn off automatically. 4) Press and hold the "Open" button on the driver's door. 5) Press and hold the unlock button onโ€ฆ

Great value for money

I'll have a backup for when the second original comes out. Following the instructions, it was easy to connect to the car. After testing these remotes with the original, I only noticed a slight delay between pressing the button and the action. On the original remote, the action happens as a button press, but on the new remotes, the action happens when I release the button. To be honest if I hadn't had the original I probably wouldn't have noticed and I'm sure it will become the new normal whenโ€ฆ

Excellent remote control, short wireless range, very easy home programming

Programming couldn't be easier. Check out all the many other overviews of the steps required to program these remotes. If you buy multiple remotes (I have 3) and want to program them all, after you press and hold the unlock button on the driver's side when you turn the car on (just before the car turns on fully), OFF, ON, OFF, remove the key , release the driver's side auto unlock button, and then you know your car is in programming mode when it auto locks/unlocks once. Next, pick up eachโ€ฆ
