I bought these to replace my favorite brand that is no longer sold at Wal-Mart. They are softer than ordinary men's scarves and just the right size for women. I spend a lot of time outside in the yard and often use a handkerchief. Many men's handkerchiefs, even if they are 100% cotton, are either thin and coarse or thick and coarse, becoming coarser with each wash. So far these handkerchiefs have stayed soft after 4 washes. i order more
