I didn’t have much hope for the longevity of these toys when I opened the package. Maybe if they were made of different fabric, or used tighter stitching. Regardless, this is what I did to the blue toy with the fabric strings since the strings came out of the toy rather quickly. My dog was starting to chew at the blue plastic and I was concerned that she would eat any pieces that came off.I took 6 shoe strings and pushed them together through the hole. I tied a knot on both sides (one side needed a double knot). Next I tied double knots at each end of the laces. I then wet all of the knots with water and tightened them again. Finally, I snipped off the plastic ends of the laces with scissors.
