Review on 📶 Boost Wi-Fi Performance with Buffalo AirStation HighPower N300 DD-WRT Router (WHR-300HP) by John Kahsar

The router is good so far. Slightly higher bandwidth and reception expected. Replaced an old Medialink router with this one, hoping to take advantage of DDWRT and improve performance. Firstly, I consider myself a fairly technical guy and it took me a bit to get back on my feet. This is not for the average user as the software is a bit complex. Second, the reception isn't as good as my old Medialink router that I placed in the same spot. Last but not least, and the main reason I gave this 3 stars, is throughput. After using it for a month, I noticed that this router measures some of the highest throughputs I've seen on internet speed test websites, but when it comes to browsing and downloading in real life, I can tell a real difference notice (he was slower with this router). Worst of all, I noticed more slowdown on my iPad and IPHONE devices. I don't know if it's the settings or the router itself. When I have time, I'll go back to the router and play around with the settings to see if I can improve throughput.
