It's ok, but the chipboard backing isn't very strong and the paper is a bit thinner than I prefer.
paper 57 pounds (53008). I typically use Strathmore Sketch Paper in 100-sheet wired notebooks. This is an acid-free 60 lb paper with a finely serrated surface. This U-Create sketchbook is made from 57 pounds of acid-free paper, so it's not that heavy. I prefer the slightly heavier Strathmore paper. I also don't like the chipboard on the back of this sketchbook, as does Strathmore's back, because it's not as strong and doesn't provide as good a base for the paper. This is a regular sketchbook for drawing. notes or whatever. For more serious work I would choose something else.
