Doesn't live up to the hype.
We bought this slicer specifically for slicing mushrooms. From day one it didn't work properly. With prolonged use, the blades became stained because they were never aligned. It took too much effort to cut even 8 ounces of mushrooms. Sent back for a full refund. Very disappointed - bad design.
