INSTAX RAINBOW film is essentially the same as regular instax film (with white border). The images are the same and the product is the same except for the border. It's good! A rainbow border means that instead of a white border, you will get a colored border (be it pink, purple, orange, red, yellow, green, blue, etc.). Instax has white border and is one of the few instax films that doesn't have logos/icons on it (most of them are themed) which is great. You can still write on it like you would on regular film, but some darker shots are harder to write on if you don't use a metal marker. The only downside is that the price is a bit higher than regular film (with white border). Rainbow foil is only available in packs of 10. In a pack of 5 (this item) the cost is around 75 cents per shot. The white frame costs about 15-20 cents less. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. After trying it, I really like the rainbow because of the variety!
