I really like this idea, but in practice they don't work as well as I hoped. First, I only had 19 clips in my backpack so I could only assemble 9 pant hangers instead of 10 (not a life saver, but a bit disappointing). Second, they don't open very wide so it took a lot of effort to fit my jeans snugly into the clips. Eventually they will rip the velvet off your hangers when you put them on, so be careful with placement or you'll see some exposed metal if you need to move them (again, this isn't a big deal to me, but it might be for some people be). They're relatively easy for some pros to use, I love that you can somehow match them to their hangers (hard to get *exact* color matches, but it's close!), and they hold my heavier jeans really in place. very good that they do not slip out of the clip. Overall a good product, if a bit pricey for the price.
