This is a ball of butcher twine

Needs to be filled before free shipping. Works great with all the chicks I tie, that's about 2 a year, and a few other tie jobs I use it for. At this rate, the ball is likely to last for the next decade. Doesn't burn even if the stove blazes at 450 for about an hour. Instead of buying expensive string, I simply twisted a small terracotta flower pot with a hole in the bottom onto a ball. It has a handy twine hole and is heavy enough to hold the ball. In theory, the clay can also absorb moisture from the environment to keep the line from getting moldy.
