I don't recommend this monitor, it looks great, it's huge, it's bright, there are no dead pixels, the sound is good enough. I'm running mine with an Nvidia GeForce 740 via HDMI at a 30Hz refresh rate and there's no visible lag, either with movies or X-Plane. Maybe one day I'll switch to a DisplayPort card, but there's no need for that now. I'm running Windows 10 and OS X 10.11 with Nvidia web drivers. The display was recognized on both platforms and set to full resolution. Note. OS X doesn't output audio over HDMI on expansion cards (onboard video only), but I was able to use HDMIAudio .kext to get HP speakers to work. Again, volume control isn't supported through the OS X UI in this configuration, but the in-display volume control works just as well.
