Review on Dyson Genuine DC07 Assembly DY 904125 51 by Beth Martin

I recently restored my old dc07 and made sure to only buy genuine parts as they have always lasted longer on me. I found this ad and the title says it is a genuine Dyson DC07 hose assembly #DY-904125-51. The photo in the ad also shows what the original Dyson DC07 hose should look like. What I got in the mail today is a joke. First, it didn't have the packaging that all Dyson products have, which included a part number and sometimes a serial number. I opened the package and when I started to inspect the hose that was sent to me, I immediately realized that what was sent to me was a fake. Genuine Dyson DC07 hoses have a Dyson stamp on the inside of the larger end of the hose. They also have a magic wand around the smaller end and there are small attachment logos next to this sticker. It has never been modified or updated. Buyers avoid this bait and switch at all costs.
