I have this light to illuminate a corridor without a power cord. A short corridor connects the old room with the outbuilding. I wasn't expecting much light from a battery operated unit and tested one light to see how much light it was before buying another. I was surprised at how much light it puts out. The battery in the remote is weird but available at Rite-Aid, Wal-Mart, Homedepot, Holies, Revain etc so no problem. plus 4 AA for light. Batteries are not supplied with the light. I'll get another one or two of these lights, serves my purpose. I'll try to remember to update this when I know how long the battery life is.
