He has his own opinion. It turns on by itself, I think there may be other remotes in the house. Then sometimes it won't turn off with the remote control until you remove the battery from the flashlight. Right now it won't turn on with its remote with all new batteries. I do not recommend this. With a shattering review like this, you'd think the company might come forward.

I installed these under my kitchen cabinets with a remote switch on the wall below. The switch worked for three days, then wouldn't turn off the light. I literally had to detach the flashlight and take out the battery to turn it off. Now if I go to work and forget it, the lights will stay on and the batteries will be dead when I get home. This is poorly made.

Arrived. All new batteries are inserted. No light. There WAS a red light on the switch but the light did not work even though the batteries were replaced with another new set. I contacted Amazon and was assured a free replacement was on the way which was great. Still waiting impatiently. Many Thanks. Hi! Bad things happen! EPILOGUE: The replacement came as promised. Bought hoping to hang it over the kitchen sink so I could see because my big head blocked the overhead light. This light is useless beyond 6 inches. I had it about 3 feet above the sink and you didn't even notice. The only thing this is good for is a night light that can be used in a way that doesn't bother anyone in the room. Otherwise, dung does not burn.

I bought 3 of these. one for the cabinet above my printer so I can easily see jams, one for my cabinet, and one for the cabinet under my desk. I returned two for replacement as they often turned on by themselves (often in the middle of the night) and drained the batteries when the same thing happened. So did the substitutes. I am so glad I found and bought this item. After reading the negative reviews I was hesitant but glad I made the purchase. There are certain spots in my house where there is no light and this is perfect for the lighting and I couldn't be happier. Also, my house has frequent power outages and it helped us see without flashlights. My only complaint is that if you buy multiple, you have to spread them out 20 feet or more or else when you turn on one, the others will also turn on. I would recommend

I have this light to illuminate a corridor without a power cord. A short corridor connects the old room with the outbuilding. I wasn't expecting much light from a battery operated unit and tested one light to see how much light it was before buying another. I was surprised at how much light it puts out. Switch has a problem. We used the light twice and the light didn't work. We thought it might be the battery so we put a new one in the switch and it worked for a while. However my son tried to use it last weekend and he turned it on and it wouldn't go off so we had to take the battery out of the switch to turn the light off. I ordered three of these lights as I needed more light in my dressing room and placed over the unwired fireplace to give it the appearance of an alcove. This light emits as much as a night light and does not illuminate the area, it is a beam of light directly from where it is installed with a very faint glow.
