This light is SO bright, it keeps my plants alive and the fish awake with no problems. I use it in a 10 gallon tank and it does the job perfectly. The switch is very durable and nothing about this product feels cheap. My only concern is heat dissipation. After a few hours of use, the light feels hot, so I wouldn't hide it under a shelf or cabinet. Be sure to give this light good airflow to allow the metal body to do its job. Kind. Great light, would 100% recommend to a friend. The manufacturer's advice, a small rubber tip at the top of the screw that attaches the light to the tank, is appreciated and brings security. I don't want to scratch the walls of the aquarium.
